Our policy on archiving in Institutional or Funding body Repositories (Green Open Access)

Authors of monographs are not required to seek permission to archive your content provided that you adhere to the terms outlined in this Policy (please print and date a copy for your records, as they are subject to review).
Amount that may be archived:
- For single authored works: up to one chapter per work
- For contributed volumes: each contributor may archive up to one chapter per volume (provided they are the author or a co-author of such chapter). Please note that any linking, collection or aggregation of chapters from the same volume is strictly prohibited.
Author's own version of their pre-copy-edited contribution.
No content may be archived until 36 months post publication.
Please acknowledge as follows: '[author and/or editor(s) of contribution], [volume and/or contribution title], [year of publication], [publisher (as it appears on our copyright page)] reproduced with permission of Macmillan Publishers Ltd.'
The following statement must also be displayed: 'This extract is taken from the author's original manuscript and has not been edited. The definitive, published, version of record is available here: [insert URL for product on macmillanihe.com].
